The Barracudas are a neighborhood summer league swim team based in Braun Station, which is located in Northwest San Antonio. In addition to residents, our team welcome out-of-neighborhood swimmers ages 4-18. 

We offer a positive competitive swimming experience that emphasizes skills and good sportsmanship.  No competitive swim experience is necessary. Our swimmers have a long history of building friendships and making great summer memories.

Our season runs from mid-May through the end of June and usually includes 4 dual meets and a divisional championship meet.

To join the competitive team, kids need to be able to at least dog paddle across the pool (it does not have to look pretty!). We also offer a pre-team for kids who are not able to swim independently yet but wo are comfortable and not fearful in the water and who are able to follow directions from their coach for the duration of the 30 minute practices. This group practices daily but does not compete in swim meets.
