All Hands Volunteers

Volunteering is an essential part of summer league swim team. We require at least one adult from each competition team family to volunteer at each swim meet in order for the meet to run smoothly. (Pre-team parents do not have to volunteer at the meets; however, we encourage them to help at Spirit Day and the Team Party.)

Our swim team is able to exist and be affordable because it runs like a co-op where every family volunteers. If your family does not fulfill its volunteer requirement, your kid cannot be on the team. Extenuating circumstances can be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Volunteer sign ups are posted under the Meet Schedule as soon as the meet dates are confirmed. 

While you are volunteering, you will be able to step away to see your child's races, and some roles like Timers give you an up-close view of the race. There are roles, such as Tent Parent or Pool Set Up/Tear Down that make it easier to watch non-swimmer siblings while serving. There are even roles in the air conditioner like concessions. If you need help finding the right fit, let us know during orientation.

No experience is necessary; just bring a positive attitude, and we'll show you the ropes.

Parent Booster Volunteers

Our parent boosters are volunteer leaders who organize all of the behind-the-scenes efforts to make each season possible and also step in to fill meet day roles when needed.

We always need to cycle new leaders onto the boosters. If you'd like to learn more about what's involved in serving, co-lead, or shadow with a current leader, contact us!
