The Braun Station Barracuda swim team wrapped up its 42^rd season with a 2^nd place finish in the Northside Summer Swim League. Nearly 160 kids participated on the team including several kids on “pre team,” a new offering for emerging swimmers wanting to learn the skills needed to swim across the pool independently and join the competition team in the future.

Pre-team as well as the competitive team were a huge success thanks in large part to the hands-on help and commitment of the team’s high school junior coaches and the leadership of new head coach Madalyn Rayburg and assistant head coach Taylor Simmons. The junior coaches honed their leadership skills, and the entire team enjoyed the daily satisfaction of fitness, fun and friendship.

We’d love to have your swimmer on the team next year! Registration for kids ages 4-18 will open on April 6 at braunstationbarracudas.swimtopia.com, and the team will host a popsicle meet-and-greet the same day from 3-5 pm at the Braun Station West clubhouse.
