Here are reminders and action items from yesterday’s parent meeting.
If you couldn’t attend, please reply to this message so we can arrange to give your
swimmer their team shirt.

• For pre-team swimmers, if you want to discuss switching to the competition team, talk with the coaches by the end of this week.
  
• Thanks for your graciousness about the kids’ t-shirt sizes. (We now have a t-shirt volunteer to help next year – thank you!) You may order additional
  shirts for yourself or your swimmers here. Orders will be distributed
  during an upcoming practice. Deadline to order is Monday, May 26 by 11:59 pm.
• If you know a business owner who may be interested in sponsoring our team, please direct them to this webpage to see our sponsorship levels and benefits. The commitment deadline to receive full benefits is May 27, but we welcome sponsors at any time.
• Here’s information on buying a team swimsuit. (Team suits are not required for pre-team.)
• Download the SwimTopia app (Apple | Android). You will use the app to receive notifications about weather cancellations, RSVP for the meets, sign up for meet day volunteer shifts, and view the swim meet line ups. The free version of the app is adequate, or you can upgrade to the paid version to follow along with the meets in real-time.
• Our full event calendar is here. We are still awaiting confirmation from the league on the meet start times, but we are advocating for 5:30 pm starts for the home
  meets, which means we will need to be in the water for warms ups at 4:30pm.
• During swim meets, all swimmers must sit in our group tents. If they need to leave for concessions, the restroom, to talk to parents, etc, they must check out with the tent parent volunteers. Locating kids before their races has been a pain point for our coaches and volunteers in the past, and we think this policy will resolve that issue. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
• Finally, at least one person from each competition team family is expected to volunteer at each swim meet. This year, we’re making an extra effort to break the roles into clear, manageable duties and shifts. Sign ups will sent before each meet through the app.
