Thanks for a great second week of practice! Here's a few updates and important things to know going into next week:

• No practice today (we don't practice on Friday during the school year), no practice Monday (Memorial Day), or next Thursday, May 29 (NISD's last day). 
• Morning practice starts on Friday, May 30. See your group's morning practice time here. 
• Please stick to your assigned group practice time, and remind your kids to go to their assigned lanes unless Coach Rayburg has approved a change. If you need to discuss a change, email her at [email protected].
• If you plan to order a t-shirt for yourself or your swimmer, the deadline is Monday, May 26 at 11:59 pm. All orders will be delivered together and distributed during practice. The kids (including pre-team) will wear their shirts in the team picture taken on the clubhouse riser steps right before the June 9 meet. 
• We've had to change the date of our Away Meet (we're very sorry for the inconvenience!): the meet vs Splash has moved from Friday, June 13 to Friday, June 6 at 5 pm. Warm ups will be at 4 pm at Splash's pool on the TMI Episcopal School campus (20955 Tejas Trl W, San Antonio, TX 78257). In addition to warm ups before the meet, there is an optional 15 minute per group diving block practice the morning of the meet at our pool, starting at 8 am and ending by 9:40 am. We'll remind you of your group's specific time for the optional dive practice before the meet day. 
• The start times for all of our swim meets have now been confirmed by the league. For the three Home Meets, we'll start at 5:30pm, which means the Barracudas will warm up from 4:30-5 pm. Again, there is an optional 15 minute per age group diving block practice the morning of the swim meets starting at 8 am at our pool. (The NISD League manages this page of our site and they will be updating the Splash meet information noted above very soon.)
• Be on the lookout for our first swim meet sign up/RSVP to go out in the app next week. When you get the notice, mark whether or not your child will be attending, and if they are attending, also sign up for a meet-related volunteer role. (Remember, we need one volunteer per competition family to make our meets run smoothly.)
• Finally, we know it's hot, but for safety reasons, please don't allow your kids to get in the water unless it is their practice time and their coach is supervising them. Also the baby pool is closed during practice.
