RSVPs Open, Info for Coming Week

Fantastic job at yesterday's meet, team!

    • Our new system for keeping the kids seated close together made it much easier for the coaches to gather swimmers before races. We will be following the same procedure for our remaining two meets at our home pool -- all kids must stay in the roped area with at least one responsible adult per family. The stands will be for come-and-go viewing and for guests who are not in charge of sitting with their athlete.
    • Our next meet is this Monday. Three meets in 7 days has been a lot! - thanks for sticking with it!
    • RSVPs for swimmers and volunteers are open in the app and due by Sunday at 7pm.
    • To be sure we finish and clean up before dark, we need to change the start times for this meet as well as the 6/16 meet from 5:30 to 5 pm. (We know it's tricky when parents are coming from work and need to plan in advance so we apologize for the change.)
    • Monday morning, we'll have diving block practice while the adults set up the pool for the meet. The meet-day practice schedule is posted here. There is no pre-team practice. If you're on deck Monday morning, we'd love your help pitching in to set up for the meet, even if you are not officially signed up to volunteer for that job.
    • Afternoon warm ups for the 7-10 year olds will be 3:45-4pm. Warm ups for the remaining kids (6 and Under and 11 and Older) will be 4-4:15pm.
    • We are taking our team picture before the meet on the stairs at 3:30 pm. Wear your team shirt. (We'll have some extras.) Please don't place any items on the stairs or the covered balcony until after we snap the picture. Pre-team, we'd love for you to join us for the photo, but it is not required.
    • If you ordered a team gear bag or haven't picked up your t-shirt order, it will be at the meet Check In table.
    • Finally, our Swim-A-Thon fundraiser is coming up on Wednesday, June 18 during regular practice. Info about the event and a pledge sheet is attached and also available on the swim-a-thon webpage. You can start collecting pledges now, and we'll share more about this event next week.
