Swim team registration closes this Friday, May 1 at 6 pm. Our non-competition/pre-team group is at capacity, but we are still welcoming swimmers from inside and outside Braun Station to the competition team. Share this message with a friend or sign up now!

A few other items:

• Parents and supporters wanting team t-shirts or Barracuda fan gear must place their orders by May 1 at 6 pm. Our Swag Shop includes tank tops and dri-fit shirts. (All swimmers will receive a traditional style t-shirt with registration.)
• Our plan is to start competition team practice after school on Monday, May 4; however, we may have to push the date back if the water is too cold. We'll keep you informed as the date gets closer via email and through the SwimTopia app (Apple | Android).
• We need a pool of volunteers who are qualified to be stroke judge officials during meets. No experience is necessary; NISD Summer League provides training. Doing the training doesn't obligate you to volunteer in the role, but it does give you the opportunity, and the training is valid for multiple years. Plus, the training is helpful for understanding what judges may have seen if they disqualify your kid in a race. Training dates are May 5 or May 6 from 6-7 pm at the NISD Swim Center on 1604. • Our first swim meet will be Wednesday, May 27 during our regular practice time, so be ready by purchasing your team suit now. Our suits are any solid royal blue competition-style swimsuit. You can purchase from any store you'd like or from SwimOutlet, where our team makes a tiny sales commission.
