Our first swim meet is tomorrow! Here's the info you need to be prepared:

• Since it might be muddy tomorrow, we're setting up our tents on the left side blacktop parking lot. Please park your car at Braun Station Elementary.
• Swimmers need to stay in the roped area around our tents. Parents are welcome to set up nearby or inside the pool gates. Remember, no tent stakes allowed, and stadium seats only on the bleachers.
• Ages 11 and up will warm up at 6:30 am. Please arrive a few minutes early and be ready to get in the water on time. Ages 10 and under will warm up at 6:45 am.
• While the kids are warming up, volunteers will set up the pool deck for the meet -- we could always use extra help. If you are able, just pitch in.
• Before the meet starts, be sure to check in your swimmers and volunteers at the check in table. Free swim caps will be available at the table, and if you ordered swag items, you may pick those up at the tent nearby.
• Travelin' Tom's breakfast food truck will be in the parking lot, and volunteers will run our concession stand in the clubhouse. (We'll have tacos!) Our stand accepts credit cards with a $5 minimum purchase or cash.
• Swimmers' assigned races will be posted in the app later today, and the heat sheet will be available shortly before the meet.
• If storms force us to delay the start time or cut short the meet, we will eliminate the relays in order to finish by 11 am so that the HOA can host their usual open swim. Stay tuned to the SwimTopia app for weather updates.
• 19239# is the gate code. State law prohibits us from propping the pool gates open, so please use the code. Share it freely with anyone at the meet. It only works during swim team hours.
• We still need 3 volunteer timers. Sign up in the app if you can help.
