We have several critical volunteer positions that still need to be filled before tomorrow's meet.

We currently need:

• 6 more parents to help line up swimmers
• 4 more timers for the second half of the meet

The swimmer lineup role is especially important. At our previous meets, Junior Coaches were able to assist with lining up swimmers, but this meet will be much larger and too busy for them to manage that responsibility effectively.

Please remember:

• Parents are not allowed to sit on deck or in the team tents with swimmers unless they are signed up for volunteer positions.
• Swimmers are not allowed to sit in the stands.

Because of these restrictions, we rely on volunteer parents to help line up swimmers, ensure they are in the correct lane, and make sure they get to their events on time. This role is essential to keeping the meet running smoothly and helping our swimmers be successful.

We also need additional timers for the second half of the meet. Without enough timers, the meet cannot begin on schedule. Meet officials will stop the meet and make announcements over the loudspeaker requesting volunteers from our team until all timer positions are filled.

If your swimmer is participating in tomorrow's meet and you are not currently signed up for a volunteer position, please reply to this email as soon as possible. We will be reaching out directly to families who have swimmers attending the meet and have not yet signed up to volunteer.

As a volunteer-run swim team, we depend on families sharing the workload throughout the season. Volunteer participation is tracked to help ensure responsibilities are shared fairly and that no small group of families carries the majority of the workload.
