Good afternoon Barracudas!  I just wanted to give you a heads up that we will have a few openings on our Barracuda Board for next season.  You guys are all so great at helping out, we know that there are a few of you who would be willing to step into a board position.  There are very few meetings, probably 3-4 per year, and it's a great way to become involved and fill a big need on the team.

Please consider one of these positions for next season and let either Amy Douglas or Jana Duke know of your possible interest.  We would like to have them set by the end of season party if possible.  (You could also find a friend and take on a position together!!!)

Here's what we will need:

1.  2nd VP for Spirit.  This person will:

• secure (with input of the board) the swimsuit design and coordinate with company for availability.  
• Set up order date of suits.  
• Coordinate team shirt design, order and distribution
• secure photographer for individual and team pictures
• organize several spirit events throughout season
• most responsibility falls just before season begins and beginning of season
• super fun position

2.  Volunteer Manager.  This position is great for 2 people to work on together.

• responsible for setting up volunteer sign-up on website (very easy template)
• secure and mobilize volunteers for both home and away meets
• this job's responsibilities run mostly during the season

Please consider one of these positions.  I know we are all busy and have so many responsibilities, but this is a great way to invest in our team.
