2017 Barracudas!
Welcome to our 2017 Barracudas! We are so looking forward to this season and are happy to have your family as part of our team! Here is some important info. you need: If you do not have a 2017 Handbook, you need one. :) You can print the attachment here or pick one up at practice or in the clubhouse. Your child will need a good pair of goggles and our coaches prefer swim caps, especially for girls.
Practice starts on Monday the 15th. Here is our schedule:
AFTER SCHOOL PRACTICES — May 15th –31st
Ages 6 and Under: 4:30 to 5:00 pm
Ages 7 to 10: 5:00 to 5:30 pm
(new swimmer and needs stroke work)
Ages 7-10: 5:30 to 6:00 pm (Know strokes)
Ages 11and Up: 6:00 to 6:30 pm
*No practice: May 24, 26, May 29th or June 1*
MORNING PRACTICES — June 2nd-June 23rd
Ages 6 and Under: 8:00 to 8:30 am
Ages 7 – 10 (need stroke work): 8:30 to 9:10 am
Ages 7 – 10(know strokes): 9:10 to 9:50 am
Ages 11 and Up: 9:50 to 10:30 am
Our 7-10 year olds are divided into 2 groups: 1. 5:00pm - those who are new to the team and those who still need stroke work. 2. 5:30pm those who were in the 2nd group at the end of last season. The coaches decide when a child moves up to the 2nd group. Here is how it looked last season and where we will begin this season unless the coaches tell us otherwise. For those still in the 7-10 age group:
